Easter weekend is almost here, bringing with it a season of joy, renewal, and meaningful time with loved ones. This year, one of the best ways to celebrate is by participating in the Children's Relief International Green Door 5K, a beloved community race that blends fitness, family fun, and a mission that truly makes a difference – and don’t worry you’ll have time after Easter to get back into running shape! The 5K is on April 18, 2026 and you can register here.
Whether you’re running, walking, volunteering, or cheering from the sidelines, the Green Door 5K is an uplifting way to start your Easter celebration — and it supports life-changing programs for families in need around the world.

🎉 Family Games for Easter Weekend
Looking for ways to keep everyone entertained after the Green Door 5K and Easter service? Here are games that require little setup and work for kids, teens, and adults.
🥚 1. Easter Egg & Spoon Relay
How to Play:
Give each participant a spoon and an egg (plastic or hard-boiled). Race to the finish line without dropping it. Great for lawns, cul-de-sacs, or parks.
🐇 2. Bunny Hop Sack Race
Use old pillowcases or sacks and hop like bunnies to the finish line. This one always gets both kids and adults laughing.
🪺 3. Easter Scavenger Hunt
Build clues and hide small treats or prizes around the yard or house. Fun for older kids and teens who enjoy a challenge.
🍬 4. DIY Dessert Decorating Station
Set out cupcakes, cookies, icing, and sprinkles.
Kids stay engaged, adults can socialize, and everyone gets dessert.
🎤 5. Backyard Karaoke or Lip Sync Contest
No Easter theme needed — this works in every season and is always a hit.
🧠 6. Family Bingo: Easter Edition
